10:45 AM PT -- We're told Okerlund passed away early Wednesday morning. Cause of death is still unclear. Working on it.

8:59 AM PT -- We just spoke with Diamond Dallas Page who praised Okerlund as one of the greatest people in the industry.

Page got emotional as he reflected on Okerlund's life and says he will be missed by all.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund -- the most famous announcer in the history of pro wrestling -- has died, WWE has confirmed. He was 76.

Vince McMahon's company issued a statement saying, "WWE is saddened to learn that WWE Hall of Famer Gene Okerlund, the most recognizable interviewer in sports-entertainment history, has passed away at age 76."

Hulk Hogan also commented ... saying, "Mean Gene I love you my brother."

Unclear how he died, but Okerlund had health problems dating back years. He had 2 kidney transplants -- the first one in 1995 and the second in 2004.

Okerlund started as a radio DJ back in Nebraska before taking a job with the American Wrestling Association in 1970.

He moved to WWF in the early '80s and WRESTLED -- famously pinning Mr. Fuji in a tag team match with Hulk Hogan in 1984.

Okerlund was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006 by Hulk Hogan.

Among his many highlights, Okerlund sang the national anthem at Wrestlemania I back in 1985.

His interviews were legendary -- standing face to face with guys like Andre the Giant, Ultimate Warrior, Ricky Steamboat and others ... and getting the best out of these guys.

He was beloved in wrestling circles for decades. In fact, he served as the best man at The Iron Sheik's wedding!

As for his nickname, Jesse "The Body" Ventura is credited with the name "Mean" Gene.

The tributes from WWE stars are already pouring in ...

Ric Flair -- One Of My Closest Friends Since 1972 Until This Very Sad Day In 2019. Not Only The Greatest Voice And Personality In The History Of Announcing, But A Man Who Touched Everyone’s Life Who Were Fortunate Enough To Know Him. Rest In Peace Knowing No One Will Ever Replace You.

Kevin Owens -- Mean Gene was universally loved by everyone I’ve met that knew him.

Very few people can say that their work will forever be appreciated and remembered. Very few can legitimately claim to be legends in their field.

Those things can undoubtedly be said about him.

Matt Hardy -- RIP to an absolute legend of our industry, @TheGeneOkerlund. "Mean Gene" was incredible in many roles, as he wore many hats throughout his iconic career in pro wrestling. My thoughts are with his family & friends today.

Kurt Angle -- Very seldom does an interviewer become just as popular, and at times even more popular than the superstars he/she interviews. Gene Okerlund was that person. Im saddened to hear of Gene’s passing. It was an honor to know you Gene!

Demi Lovato looked almost angelic while ringing in the New Year, clearly sticking to her new battle cry -- to never take another day for granted.

The singer and her BF, Henry Levy, celebrated the New Year in Aspen. She was all smiles and dressed to the nines -- flowy, long white fur coat (we know, can't tell if it's real or faux) with boots and a very color-poppin' Hermes Birkin bag.

Demi's jewelry choices might also raise eyebrows -- she's rocking a diamond ring on her left ring finger -- y'know, that one. It doesn't look very engagement-y, and the relationship is only a couple months old -- but stranger things have happened.

A male model alleging photographer Bruce Weber solicited him for sex is a total hypocrite ... according to new legal docs filed by the photog.

As we reported ... models Jason Boyce and Mark Ricketson claimed in December 2017 Weber forced them to touch their genitals during a photo shoot.

According to new docs, Boyce now wants to tack on a sex trafficking claim -- alleging Weber lured him in for a meeting for the purpose of committing an illegal sex act. Weber's calling BS and claims it was the other way around.

The photographer claims Boyce and his agents initiated the contact with him by sending a series of text messages for years including "pornographic poses in a desperate attempt to get Mr. Weber's attention." This includes a nude shot in 2014 from Boyce's agent ... and several others.

Weber claims when he didn't respond to the texts, the model would be persistent and send more salacious pics himself "in a blatant attempt to be sexual, posing and bending shirtless in a manner to emphasize his genitals."

Colton Underwood just swerved REAL hard on the big v-question that everyone wants to know.

The 'Bachelor' star was out Tuesday in NYC and was asked about finding love and whether or not he finally lost his virginity. Colton's sex life has been a major focus of his storyline after he revealed he was still a virgin during "The Bachelorette."

10:35 AM PT -- Bonnie's publicist Thomas Santiago tells TMZ ... she'd been dealing with flu-like symptoms in the days leading up to the event, but she'd committed to performing and didn't want to cancel.

We're told she's feeling better now.

Bonnie Pointer lost control, and it doesn't look like she liked it ... but she's a real trooper for powering through a puke and singing her heart out.

The Pointer Sisters cofounder was performing at the historic Wattles Mansion in Hollywood Saturday night when she got ill onstage and threw up ... in her hand.

But, check out the video -- almost immediately afterward Bonnie starts dancing to the beat of the group's most famous song, and is fully composed to belt out the opening verse and chorus of "I'm So Excited."

That's a true show-woman.

Unfortunately, the Pointer Sister got sick again after her initial recovery and had to be helped offstage before the song came to a close.

David Spade has some words of encouragement for Tiffany Haddish AND Louis C.K. and David makes it clear ... they're not in the same boat.

We got the longtime comedian leaving Nobu Tuesday night in WeHo where, at first, he weighed in on what had happened to Tiffany on New Year's Eve in Miami -- namely, miserably bombing onstage and cracking open some Ciroc to numb the pain.

He says NYE gigs are tough as it is 'cause everyone's already faded, and a night of partying for the comic themselves probably ain't the best idea if ya mix the two. Remember, Tiff had said earlier in the day that she'd been out all night raging before her set.

Then, Dave pivots to Louis ... saying comics always try new material with smaller crowds that aren't necessarily meant to be heard worldwide.

David sidesteps Louis' jokes -- like the Parkland massacre survivors -- he realized it's a hot potato.

It's worth noting ... Tiffany's tough night and Louis' tough night are dissimilar.

He shoots, he scores ... ON WATER!!!

Michael Jordan's 2019 is off to a GREAT start -- he's hanging out on an $80 MILLION super yacht off the coast of St. Barths ... and the ship has a basketball court onboard!!!

Seriously ... this thing's amazing.

Unclear if MJ is ponying up the $840,000 per week it costs to charter the 230-foot floating mansion -- but he's reportedly worth around $1 BILLION, so it's not like he can't afford it.

Either way, this ship is paradise on water -- with 8 cabins, a bar, dining room, full gym, deck Jacuzzi ... and, oh yeah, the basketball court!!

The yacht also boasts a state-of-the-art audiovisual system, satellite TV and fast WIFI ... so you can still check your Instagram from the middle of the ocean.

Drake's keeping his friends close and his frenemy's family even closer ... based on who showed up to his New Year's Eve bash.

As you know ... Kanye West went on the attack last weekend and issued a very public rebuke of Drake on NYE for following his wife on Instagram, but that didn't stop Kim's sisters from having a good time at Drizzy's champagne party.

Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott all attended The Mod Selection New Year's Party Monday night at Delilah in L.A. -- hosted by Drake -- despite the bad blood currently between him and Ye.

It's possible the rappers' relationship's on the mend ... Drake unfollowed Kim on IG just hours before midnight on NYE, so perhaps that was enough to smooth things over and allow Kanye's kin to hang out with Drake without backlash.

Kanye even tweeted on New Year's Day "I love Drake 2019 we will all heal."

However, he also used the first day of 2019 to go on a Twitter rant about Trump.

One step forward, two steps back.

Cardi B went head-to-head with a New Zealand warrior ... and came away with a HUGE smile.

The rapper got the warmest welcome Wednesday after landing in Auckland where she'll headline in the country's biggest summer (yeah, their seasons are backward) festival ... the Bay Dreams Festival. Cardi was in awe as a warrior from the Kai Haka group embraced her arrival. And, they got really close too.

The warrior gave Cardi a "hongi" greeting by rubbing noses. The group also performed the Haka dance as Cardi soaked it all in. She later posed for pictures with the group before going on her way.

The rapper profusely thanked the group for the performance and told them, "Thank you for sharing your culture with me and I hope I can show you some of mine."

Mac Miller's still making a difference -- his charity foundation's quickly approaching a million bucks in money raised to help kids in his hometown ... TMZ has learned.

Folks at The Mac Miller Circles Fund tell us ... donations have been pouring in from the late rapper's fans and the total is up to around $350,000. The cash will be used to provide programs and opportunities to underserved youth in the Pittsburgh area, "helping them recognize their full potential through exploration in the arts and community building."

Add that money to proceeds from the October 31 tribute concert for Mac -- which we're told is expected to be another $350k -- and the Circles Fund's hauled in $700k since his death.

As we reported ... the tribute show, "Mac Miller: A Celebration of Life," went down at L.A.'s Greek Theatre and featured performances by artists -- and some of Miller's closest friends -- like Chance the Rapper, Travis Scott, SZA and John Mayer.

We broke the story ... Mac died from an overdose in September. According to the toxicology report, it was the result of "mixed drug toxicity" -- specifically fentanyl and cocaine. The Coroner ruled his death accidental.

Mac was 26.

1/2 -- Police revealed in a press conference Wednesday they recovered stolen property belonging to Jason Derulo, Adam Lambert, Dorit Kemsley, and Rebecca Hutton. So far, no case has been filed with the D.A.

A man suspected of burglarizing celebrity and high-end homes -- including Usher's -- has been nabbed by police, who found lots of stolen property worth millions ...TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us cops have arrested a guy who they believe burglarized the R&B singer this past March ... when upwards of $800k worth of property was reportedly taken. We're told police searched the suspect's home with a warrant and discovered more than 2,000 items valued at over $2 million, some of which included Usher's belongings.

We're told other items belonging to a 'Real Housewives' star were also discovered, but it's unclear for now which housewife it might've been. Our sources also tell us that during the investigation, cops learned the suspect had told family members he stumbled on his newfound wealth by doing well in the stock market.

As for how this guy would allegedly go about the break-ins ... we're told cops discovered in their investigation that he would go to open houses at homes on the market, scope the place out, and then return at a later time to burgle the home.

FWIW, our law enforcement sources tell us this suspect is not tied to the big bust from earlier last year, in which police charged multiple suspects for allegedly burglarizing the homes of stars like Rihanna, Yasiel Puig, Viola Davis and others.

Kobe Bryant and his wife, Vanessa Bryant, are having another baby ... and it'll be a girl.

The couple made the announcement on their social media pages Sunday, with both parents' posts reading, "New year, new baby! Baby Mamba on the way 2019."

Vanessa added ... "Kobe and I are so happy to add another baby blessing to our family! Bianka will have a new baby sibling with and Natalia and Gianna are super excited to welcome another little baby sister to love."

As for Kobe, he wrote ... "Vanessa and I are beyond excited to announce that we are expecting another #mambacita to go along with Natalia, Gianna and Bianka #blessed #bryantbunch #daddysprincesses #love #2019."

Kobe and Vanessa already have three daughters together -- Natalia, Gianna and Bianka ... aged 15, 12 and 2, respectively. KB and VB have been married since 2001.

Congrats!!!

There's nothing true about the life these Kardashian wannabes are living with fake butts and lip injections ... but that's exactly what MTV's tackling when it reboots "True Life."

The new franchise -- dubbed "True Life/Now" -- will tackle obsessions in several directions ... starting with "Obsessed with Being a Kardashian." TMZ's obtained a preview of the first episode ... which follows 3 subjects on their quest to look like a famous K.

Check out the clip ... there's truly no such thing as pushing the limit. Future episodes will tackle obsessions with the perfect booty, looking like a Snapchat filter and avenging revenge porn. Wild stuff.

"True Life" was a huge hit for MTV after it premiered in March 1998 ... winning an Emmy in 2009. Though it was never officially canceled, no new episodes have aired since June 2017.

"True Life/Now" premieres Wednesday at 10 PM on MTV.

Lil Xan has one less thing to stress about as he completes rehab treatments ... because we've learned Xan and the St. Louis rapper who threatened him with gun violence are putting their beef behind them.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the criminal investigation into a series of threats against Xan is now closed. We're told Xan's camp and VladHQ had a sit-down ... and afterward informed police there was no desire to pursue criminal charges.

We broke the story ... VladHQ posted a disturbing video threatening Xan before an October performance in St. Louis. He also posted a pic of himself armed and threatened he would show up at the concert -- and that prompted the venue and promoters to cancel the show.

At the time, we were told the feud was over money. Sources close to the situation tell us ... Xan's associates told Vlad he was taking the wrong approach to settle their differences. Once Vlad made it clear he understood ... both sides agreed to squash the beef.

Win, win for both men -- after all, Xan has more immediate issues on his plate.

Montae Nicholson's violent street fight got so out of hand that several people called 911 and frantically described a "huge fight" scene ... according to audio obtained by TMZ Sports.

The Washington Redskins defensive back pummeled a man in the middle of a Virginia street around 2 AM ... and the video we obtained shows the brutal knockout punch.

Seems the brawl went on for some time and created quite the scene ... 'cause several witnesses frantically called 911 for help, describing a wild fight.

"I don't want to interfere in the interaction whatsoever, all I'm saying is I'm in the car and there's a male unconscious on the ground," one witness says.

Another adds, "I need you to come immediately ... we need an ambulance and a fire rescue here immediately!"

Another witness tells dispatch, "There's a fight going on out here ... there's a fistfight that's been going on now!"

23-year-old Nicholson -- 6'2", 215 lbs -- was arrested and booked for assault and battery, and drunk in public.

The Redskins announced just days later they placed Montae on the Reserve/NFI list.

Nicholson played in 14 games for the 'Skins this year, starting 7 of them.
