The Boiling Crab restaurant chain ain't about to let some lesser bottom dwelling crustacean pinch its biz ... the popular joint is suing The Boiling Shrimp for stepping on its claws.

Tensions have been simmering for awhile, but the Crab finally pulled the trigger. Here's the deal ... TBC says its been cooking since 2004, when it's first restaurant opened in California. They've since expanded to several states including Florida.

That's key because The Boiling Shrimp is now opened in neighboring Georgia ... and the Crab is steamed.

In a shell, here's the meat of their complaint. TBC says in the lawsuit, TBS is trading off its good name in the shellfish game -- copying interior designs, significant portions of the menu and even used similar color schemes in their signage.

The Crab says it's fired off multiple written warnings to The Shrimp, but they've seen no sea change ... and quite frankly, they're pretty salty about it now.

So, they're serving up this lawsuit -- The Boiling Crab wants an injunction to put a lid on The Boiling Shrimp's copycatting ways. It also wants the Shrimp to hand over its profits, or at least pay royalties to the Crab.

And, that's it ... when ya boil it all down.

Harvey Weinstein is asking the judge who will sentence him Wednesday for mercy ... a 5-year prison sentence.

Weinstein's lawyers filed legal docs late Monday, laying out personal matters they want the judge to consider in handing down the sentence.

For starters, the lawyers honed in on Ronan Farrow's New Yorker article ... "Since the New Yorker article was published in 2017, Mr. Weinstein's life has been destroyed. His wife divorced him, he was fired from The Weinstein Company, and in short, he lost everything."

The lawyer goes on to describe "his fall from grace [as] historic, perhaps unmatched in the age of social media."

The lawyer asks the judge to consider that Weinstein otherwise has no criminal history. The lawyer tried reopening the case by writing, "Both [victims] continued consensual relationships with Mr. Weinstein after the alleged assaults and contacted him for jobs, tickets, and professional advice."

The lawyer also wants the judge to give weight to Weinstein's charitable contributions, including millions for the 9/11 firefighters and police officers. He also helped raise $2.5 billion for the Robin Hood org.

The lawyer wrote, "...the trial did not fairly portray who he is as a person. His life story, his accomplishments, and struggles are simply remarkable and should not be disregarded in total because of a jury's verdict."

67-year-old Weinstein faces a maximum of 29 years in prison for a Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree and Rape in the Third Degree. Prosecutors have asked the judge to impose a sentence that reflects the seriousness of his offenses, his total lack of remorse and the need to deter him from engaging in further criminal conduct.

Usain Bolt threw a massive gender reveal party in Jamaica -- with huge fireworks, a crazy dance party and TONS of people ... oh, and he's having a little girl!!!

"Yo, I just did the reveal and I'm a girl dad," Bolt said before threatening future suitors ... "Any man! Any boy! Don't play with me!"

The Olympic legend and his longtime girlfriend, Kasi Bennett, threw the bash at Peter's Rock in Kingston Monday night ... where guests got all sorts of cool Baby Bolt swag -- hats, shirts, etc!

There were tons of people at the party, including fashion stylist Neko Kelly who did a pretty great job documenting the action!

When the fireworks exploded -- they lit up the sky with bright pink flashes -- and the crowd went nuts!

Event planners handed out pink Baby Bolt hats -- and Usain got a special custom Girl Dad sweatshirt, which he proudly rocked around the party.

Usain and Kasi have been dating for roughly 6 years -- though, as you might recall, she famously gave him a hall pass during the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

Brad Pitt relationship rumors -- including the one about his recent concert date, Alia Shawkat -- can be put to bed because there's NO lucky lady ... not even one.

Sources close to the Oscar winner tell TMZ ... he doesn't feel any need to get back on the dating scene right now -- his focus is elsewhere. We're told he's much more involved in his kids' lives these days, so that's where most of his time and effort goes ... followed by work and his sobriety.

We broke the story ... Brad went to a Thundercat show at The Wiltern in L.A. Saturday night with a "mystery woman" we later learned was the "Arrested Development" star, Alia. The outing was nothing new for them either -- they've been going to concerts, comedy shows, museums and galleries together for months.

Our sources say despite the frequent sightings, they're not romantic ... it's strictly platonic.

As we've reported ... the "not dating" tag goes for Pitt and Jennifer Aniston as well. Though there was a frenzy when the ex-couple shared a warm embrace at the SAG Awards -- and they hit up the same award season parties -- the consensus is ... they're still just friends.

Niecy Nash and her ex have divvied up their property and are just one final, formal step away from no longer being husband and wife.

According to new legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- the "Claws" star and Jay Tucker have reached a property settlement and will be officially single in the eyes of the law June 21.

In the settlement, Niecy gets their house in Bell Canyon, CA and the 2016 Tesla. She also gets to keep her production company, Chocolate Chick.

Jay -- who's an electrical engineer -- gets the 2011 Ford F-150 truck and will receive a final payment from Nash of $184,820, which represents his cut from the sale of another property.

Both parties have agreed to forever waive the right to spousal support, and get to keep all earnings made after their official separation date ... which was June 1, 2019 -- right after their 8-year anniversary.

We broke the story ... Nash filed for divorce in December, but the exes broke the news a couple months before, saying they'd realized they'd become "better friends than partners in marriage." They added ... "Our union was such a gorgeous ride."

So is a Tesla.

Great news for Stipe Miocic ... the UFC heavyweight champ says his injured eye is healing up really well ... and he expects to fight Daniel Cormier in just a few months!

"Eye is really good actually," Stipe told us in NYC while promoting his Fire Dept. Coffee brand ... "Getting healed up. Getting better every day. Getting back in the gym slowly."

Remember, 37-year-old Miocic suffered a torn retina in his August 2019 victory over Cormier -- and while both Stipe and DC are down to run it back, everyone's waiting on the eye to heal up first.

Stipe says he's still battling some issues with the eye -- he sometimes sees "spots" -- but overall, Miocic says the injury has "not really messed with my vision, so I'm happy about that."

As for the 3rd fight between the two heavyweight stars, Stipe says it's "looking like summer" ... since the UFC is already booked up with a bunch of sick PPV fights in April and May.

Stipe definitely ain't lacking confidence -- telling us when the guys do face-off, it'll "suck" for Cormier because "he's gonna lose again!"

Cormier beat Stipe the first time they fought back in 2018 -- but Miocic got his belt back when they clashed in the rematch at UFC 241.

DC says the rubber match with Stipe will be the last fight of his UFC career -- win or lose.

As for Stipe, seems he'll keep fighting as long as he's healthy. And, then it's likely to the UFC Hall of Fame for both guys.

Before this diaper-only toddler would grow up to star on a popular teen drama on Netflix ... they were born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia.

Shortly after graduating from Fordham University's drama program, this up-and-coming actor got cast on the hit Netflix series ... which premiered in 2017. The same year, they helped design a fashion collection with ASOS and won a GLAAD Rising Star Award.

The actor's credits also include "Jane the Virgin" and "Insatiable" ... and their cousin is Andi Dorfman, former star of "The Bachelorette."

Though openly gay for years, this actor came out as non-binary in June 2018 ... hence, the they/them pronouns.

Chad Johnson and Annalise Mishler are looking like they're reunited -- after ripping each other for days over his domestic violence arrest -- but he's not off the hook, criminally speaking.

The former 'Bachelorette' villain and his ex-girlfriend hit The Cheesecake Factory Sunday night in Sherman Oaks, CA, and put on an eyebrow-raising PDA show as they left the restaurant.

The two seemed to deliberately waffle when asked if they're back together -- Chad instead directed people to pay for their fan account for the inside scoop -- but did say they're still working through things.

Chad also scoffed a bit at the pending charges he's facing for domestic violence and robbery after he allegedly got physical with Annalise last month. He seems to think the charges might be dropped. Annalise points out, it's not up to her.

She's right ... the policy for domestic violence cases in L.A. is that they automatically go to the District Attorney to decide how to move forward, regardless of what transpires between the suspect and alleged victim.

So, the D.A.'s office will ultimately make the call if Chad gets charged for the February 24 altercation ... not him or Annalise.

As we reported ... they traded allegations of trying to ruin each other's lives last week via YouTube vids and social media, but maybe it's all water under the bridge now.

For them at least -- not the D.A.

Nicki Minaj's husband finally got his ducks in a row on the West Coast -- getting himself registered as a sex offender, and looking kinda ticked off in the process.

Kenneth Petty is now entered into the California Megan's Law database, which tracks sex offenders in the state. We don't know exactly what day he was registered, but it was clearly very soon after his arrest on Wednesday last week -- so a matter of days, really.

He's listed as 5'9", 170lbs ... and has a Bev Hills address. Check out his booking photo too -- Ken doesn't look very happy to be in custody.

TMZ broke the story ... KP was initially picked up by cops after a traffic stop last year in Bev Hills -- prosecutors say that's when they discovered he was registered as a sex offender in NY, but not yet on the books in California.

He was charged by the L.A. County D.A. for not registering ... before the feds arrested him last week for the same crime. While the L.A. County charge has been dropped, Petty will be back in court next month for the federal case -- and he has to wear an ankle monitor until then.

He also has to keep his nose clean substance-wise -- one of the conditions of his bond is no drugs, including legal weed.

Did Daniel Bryan's clankers fall out of his outfit during his WWE match Sunday???

YES! YES! YES!

The wrestling superstar wore his usual skin-tight briefs for his brawl with Drew Gulak at Elimination Chamber in Philadelphia, Penn. ... and it didn't take long for things to get hairy.

Early in the match, Bryan went to suplex Gulak over the ropes ... but when Drew grabbed onto Daniel's briefs on his way over -- it exposed a whole lot of Bryan.

Later in the match, an almost identical situation happened ... with Dulak revealing Bryan's junk once again when he grabbed onto the wrestler's briefs on a throw from the top turnbuckle.

Of course, Bryan didn't seem too bothered by the accidental exposure ... he went on to beat Dulak with his famous "Yes Lock."

Daniel hasn't commented on the wardrobe malfunction, and it's unclear if it was never pointed out to him that the family jewels were exposed live on Pay-per-view!
