Grammys After the Show It's the After-Party ... Chappelle, Rita & More
The Grammy Awards after-parties had some good variety -- huge comedians, famous ball players and, of course, musicians.
Dave Chappelle, Sarah Silverman and Trevor Noah were arguably the funniest people at Universal Music Group's after-party. Calvin Harris hit up Diplo's shindig ... and he's rocking a more scruffy look these days. Dollar Shave Club, anyone?
Yankees star Aaron Judge looked pretty dapper in his all-black tuxedo. Migos, Lil Dicky, Eve and Sam Smith were also out and about enjoying the night's festivities.
Rita Ora was on the scene in a different outfit from her super leggy one earlier -- but still plenty revealing.

James Franco I'm Still Winning ... In the Girlfriend Dept.
James Franco has been on the outs in Hollywood after several women have accused him of sexual misconduct, but his girlfriend is clearly sticking by his side.
Franco and Isabel Pakzad hit up the Soho House Sunday in Malibu on a sunny day -- in fact, a blazing hot day.
Pakzad also accompanied him to the Screen Actors Guild Awards last week. Franco had been nominated for "The Disaster Artist," but didn't win. As you know, he didn't get nominated for an Oscar.
You win some, you lose some.

Elon Musk Makes $3.5 Million Off Flamethrower Joke!!!
Elon Musk is so hot as a businessman, he can joke about getting into the flamethrower biz ... and instantly make millions.
Elon's Boring Company reportedly sold $3.5 million worth of $500 flamethrowers right out of the gate. He just announced the new product on Sunday, and showed off the technology in a video.
W.C. Fields couldn't have done it better, because they got flooded with pre-orders.
The Tesla and SpaceX founder joked back in December that he'd get in on the flame game if his tunnel-building Boring Company sold 50,000 hats.
Man of his word. That's hot.

Meryl Streep I Want a Monopoly On My Name
Meryl Streep is getting territorial at 68, because she's just applied for legal protection so no one can use her name to hawk anything entertainment related.
Streep filed an application with the U.S. Trademark Office, asking for a monopoly on the use of her name when it comes to entertainment services, including "live, televised, and movie appearances by a professional actress and entertainer."
The application goes on to cover public speaking engagements, autograph signings and websites related to motion pictures.
She says in her application her name was first associated with entertainment back in 1975, when she did voice-over work for a movie, "Everybody Rides the Carousel."
Meryl plunked down $275 for the application. She can swing it.

Playboy Mansion Repairs Greenlit Ahead of Historic Monument Approval
The Playboy Mansion desperately needs a fix up, and the work just got approved by the folks who will, most likely, designate Hef's old crib a city landmark ... TMZ has learned.
The mansion's new owner, Daren Metropoulos, has been cleared to replace plumbing and to repair dry rot and termite damage. The city of Los Angeles issued permits for the work earlier this week, but Daren had an extra hurdle due to the push to make it an Historic-Cultural Monument.
City officials tell us the Monument application is currently under consideration, which means renovations would normally be on hold. We're told the permits were approved in this case because the mansion's in a bad way, and it was critical for the work to be done ASAP.
As we reported, Playboy sold the mansion to Metropoulos in 2016 for $100 million, and Hugh Hefner was allowed to live in the crib until he died in September 2017.
We're told the Historic-Cultural Monument designation is almost a lock to be approved, and should be decided within the next 30 days.

Kesha Powerful Grammys Performance ... After Janelle Monae's Time's Up Intro
Kesha just rocked the Grammys with an incredibly moving performance after Janelle Monae introduced her and shouted out the Time's Up movement, too.
The pop star took the stage Sunday in what was a highly anticipated performance and possibly the biggest moment of the night to belt out her song "Praying" -- which is rumored to be all about her long legal battle with her producer, Dr. Luke.
In light of the current cultural climate, Kesha's song resonated perhaps even more so with the Grammys audience -- as seen in their standing O and emotional reactions.

Ronda Rousey Crashes Royal Rumble Signs Full Time WWE Contract
It's official ... Ronda Rousey is a WWE superstar!
The UFC legend flew back from shooting a movie in Colombia to make a surprise (not really a surprise) appearance at the end of the Royal Rumble in Philly on Sunday night ... and the crowd went wild.
Rousey didn't participate in the 30 woman tourney -- but entered the ring after the Rumble to a wild ovation and pointed to a Wrestlemania sign. Clearly the plan is to have her in either the main event or a very prominent match during the biggest WWE event of the year in April.
As TMZ Sports previously reported, Rousey had been in talks with WWE for a while -- with Triple H flying in to meet her in California earlier this month to seal the deal.
01/10/18
Obviously, he got the deal done -- we're told she's a full time WWE superstar now.
Rousey told ESPN the deal is for several years -- and she passed on other opportunities that could have paid more because she realized wrestling in the WWE would make her the happiest.
"This is my life now."

Kodak Black Sued Your Arrests are Bad for Business!!!
Kodak Black's inability to stay out of jail is hurting a concert promoter ... who's now suing to get his money back after paying him to perform.
Corey Minniefield filed a lawsuit against the rapper claiming Kodak cashed a check for $45k even though he never bothered to show up to earn his dough ... this according to legal docs obtained by TMZ.
In the docs, Corey says Kodak signed the agreement on February 28, 2017. Problem is ... that same day he was arrested for violating probation. We're told the promoter rescheduled him for a later date but he never showed again. Corey's suing to get back the money he paid Kodak.
Nicholas Fitts had the same problem ... alleging in a legal letter his lawyer fired off to Kodak's team that the rapper never performed in NY on March 3 (Kodak was in jail). The concert was rescheduled for April 15 and 29 but Kodak was still in jail for violating probation again when he hit up a strip club.
Fitts says he's out at least $123k on various booking fees and wants his money back ... or else.

"I do actually believe that a man could come out as openly gay and he could rise to the top," Liz told TMZ Sports.
You might remember ... Liz broke the glass ceiling back in 2013, when she fought Ronda Rousey in the UFC's inaugural women's title fight.
Back then, Carmouche had serious doubts about a man following in her footsteps ... but says she feels differently now after experiencing how LGBTQ fighters are treated in MMA gyms like her own (San Diego Combat Academy).
Liz -- who recently partnered with HempMeds -- also told us why she thinks the UFC's at a place where it can let its fighters smoke weed ... even though she's way more of an advocate for CBD oil.

Grammys 2018 HC & Pals Skewer Trump In 'Fire and Fury' Spoken Word Album Auditions
A lot of award shows lately have mostly avoided the topic of Donald Trump, but the Grammys just went all in on the Prez with a notable cherry on top ... Hillary Clinton.
Grammys host James Corden intro'd a skit Sunday to showcase fake auditions he held with a bunch of celebs to see who'd narrate Michael Wolff's book "Fire and Fury" for a potential nomination in next year's Best Spoken Word Album category ... and it's freaking hilarious.
Some of the stars who took a crack at reading excerpts from the book included John Legend, Cher, Snoop Dogg, Cardi B, DJ Khaled and, last but not least, Hillary.
Like we said, this thing is too damn funny for us to explain. Ya just gotta watch it.

Kendrick Lamar Kicks Off 2018 Grammys By 'Shooting' His Dancers
Kendrick Lamar started the 2018 Grammys with some violent imagery that included him fake shooting his dancers onstage.
K.Dot kicked off the award show Sunday night with a politically-charged performance -- during which he "shot" down his many dancers one by one ... sound effects and all.
It was a little shocking to say the least, and presenter Dave Chappelle expressed as much by asking ... "Is this on cable? On CBS?" He added ... "This brother's taking enormous chances."
Looks like we're in for quite a show.
