The New England Patriots tight end is rebounding like a champ -- flexing his muscles on a boat in Miami ... while partying with one of the biggest nightclub owners on the planet!

The guy in the driver's seat is Dave Grutman -- who owns LIV Nightclub. Forbes has dubbed him the "King of Miami Nightlife."

He clearly helped cheer up Rob Gronkowski -- who launched into a back workout on the front of the boat.

Look at it this way ... he's still rich, he's still jacked and he's still got 2 Super Bowl rings.

Barack Obama's still as smooth as ever ... hailing 2 women -- including his wife -- with a single breath.

Barack and Michelle Obama were at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery Monday in D.C. for the unveiling of their portraits. The former Prez had high praise for Amy Sherald and thanked her for "capturing the hotness of the woman I love." Smooth. Kehinde Wiley painted 44's portrait.

Michelle's wearing a dress by Michelle Smith's label, Milly. Her painting also features Sherald's gray skin tones. Obama's painting features the official flower of Chicago and African blue lilies are a nod to his late Kenyan-born father, Barack Sr.

Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks were also in attendance. The paintings will join the “America’s Presidents” exhibition and will be available for public viewing beginning Tuesday.

Marlon Brando's son says his dad did NOT bang Richard Pryor ... even though Pryor's widow insists he did.

Marlon's oldest living son, Miko Brando, tells TMZ ... "The Marlon Brando family has heard the recent comments by Quincy Jones and we are disappointed that anyone would make such a wrongful comment about either Marlon Brando or Richard Pryor."

That's in sharp conflict with what Richard's widow, Jennifer Pryor, told us last week ... that the Brando/Pryor hookup DID go down, and Rich was fine with it.

You'll recall, Jennifer said Richard wasn't upset at all by Quincy's comments -- adding the comedian was always very open about his bisexuality, apparently having documented his experiences in diaries he kept.

Miko's gone to bat for his late father before -- most recently when the actor was accused of plotting a real rape during a movie scene. Heck, even Richard's own daughter, Rain Pryor, denied the love affair between the 2 stars in a now-deleted post ... saying Pryor had a relationship with a trans woman once ... but "Daddy did NOT have relations with Brando."

Vic Damone, who is considered one of the best singers of his time, is dead.

Damone was praised back in the day by the likes of Frank Sinatra, who said "he had the best pipes in the business." Damone recorded more than 2,500 songs and was part of the '50s heartthrobs, which included Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin and Perry Como.

His biggest hits included "You're Breaking My Heart" and "On the Street Where You Live." He also had an NBC variety show, "The Vic Damone Show."

Damone got his break at 14, shepherded by Perry Como, who met him by chance in an elevator. Damone famously stopped the elevator between floors and began belting out tunes.

Vic died at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach surrounded by relatives.

He was 89.

Jeremy Piven's girlfriend is lashing out at the #MeToo movement ... but her beef has nothing to do with victims or accusers and everything to do with her.

We got Liana Mendoza in Studio City on Sunday when she went off, mostly because dudes aren't drooling over her anymore. See, everything to do with her. Remember ... the Prez dumped on the movement over the weekend, saying mere allegations without due process are ruining lives.

Jeremy's said as much ... and sexual misconduct allegations levied against him -- coupled with his "innocent until proven guilty" defense -- hasn't seemed to hurt his game.

Exhibit A -- Liana.

Liana, however, has a completely different take on why the #MeToo movement is messing with her personally -- as in ... it now seems pointless to have gotten a boob job. She also breaks down what would happen if a random dude pulled out his junk in front of her.

Country singer Daryle Singletary died suddenly Monday morning.

Singletary died at his home in Nashville. The cause of death is not immediately known, but it was unexpected.

Daryle had 5 Top 40 hits, including "I Let Her Lie" and "Amen Kind of Love." He also scored a number 4 song with "Too Much Fun."

He performed Friday in Alabama at The Rodeo Club and as far as we can tell there were no signs of trouble or health complications.

He was not a Bro Country guy ... his roots were more traditional country. He once said, "I've been fortunate to be able to always keep it real and not have to compromise."

Singletary was 46.

Meek Mill's lawyers are now in an all-out war with the judge who sentenced the rapper ... saying the judge in the case is more worried about her personal reputation than Meek's constitutional right to a fair hearing.

Meek's lawyers are referring to a TMZ interview last week with Judge Genece Brinkley's lawyer, A. Charles Peruto, Jr., who threatened to sue Meek's attorneys and others for smearing the judge's good name. Peruto cited a just-released transcript that appears on the surface to contradict Meek's contention that Judge Brinkley tried to get Meek to change managers to one of her friends.

Meek's lawyers have fired back, saying, "The ultimate decision to release the transcript was made (improperly) in an effort by the Judge to 'clear her name,' rather than (as it should have been two years ago) in furtherance of Mr. Williams' constitutional right to receive the transcript in aid of his appeal."

As for changing managers, Meek's lawyers say in the docs the probation officers who advocated a change in Meek's management were doing so at the behest of the judge.

Malaysia is on the lookout for bearded men who love working out, because they're gay and gay is illegal there ... this according to one of the top newspapers in the country.

It's almost incredible ... the paper published a guide on how to spot gays and lesbians. The article says gay men's eyes light up when they see handsome men.

As for lesbians ... the newspaper says they have a tendency to hug one another and belittle members of the opposite sex.

Homosexuality is illegal in Malaysia and carries a maximum sentence of 20 years.

Jeremy London's making himself way too familiar in a Mississippi jail -- he was arrested for the second time in less than 2 weeks, but this time it had nothing to do with domestic violence.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office in Mississippi tells TMZ ... the "Mallrats" star was arrested Sunday morning for missing a hearing stemming from a lawsuit. When he was a no-show, a warrant for his arrest was issued. He posted bail and was released later that evening.

TMZ broke the story ... London was arrested earlier this month for simple assault in an alleged domestic violence incident. As we reported, Jeremy's wife claims he dragged her with a moving car.

French Montana smells a chance to cash in on his name with all kinds of products ... particularly perfume.

French filed docs, obtained by TMZ, seeking to trademark his name for commerce in the health and beauty market. French says he wants to put his name on fragrances, non-medicated lotions and shampoos, and non-medicated toiletries.

As French might say ... smellez-moi!

Now, he's also applied to trademark his name on almost anything you can buy: jewelry, tote bags, backpacks, beach towels, watches, kitchen linens, sunglasses, pillow covers, headphones, and all kinds of clothing ... including underwear.

Seems like he's mostly trying to block anyone else from making dough off his name, but the perfume could work -- Remind her she is ... Unforgettable with a scent by French!

Nicole Eggert says Scott Baio is blowing up her phone on the heels of her going to cops with sexual abuse allegations against him -- something he flatly denies -- and now she's rolling with security.

We got Nicole Sunday at the L.A. Farmer's Market, where she was flanked by some huge dudes who she says she hired to help protect her and her fam from Scott -- especially since she claims he's been harassing her on the phone as of late.

Nicole claims Scott's been hounding her and telling her to stop the public shaming and just talk to the cops -- which she did last week when she met with LAPD detectives and filed a police report.

Scott's rep tells TMZ he has not called Nicole -- not even once -- since she made her allegations. The rep says Scott received several hangup calls in which the ID of the caller appeared to be Scott's own number. The rep says, "Immediately after, he was contacted by an individual who gave him 24 hours to accept an unspecified offer which was characterized as 'help.'"

The rep goes on ... saying Scott immediately changed his number, adding, "We have significant evidence about the origin of these calls, and are bringing it to law enforcement Monday."

There's also this ... Nicole says there are more cast members that are also coming forward against Baio. Again, for the record ... he's completely denied her accusations.

Johnny Manziel says he's been battling bipolar disorder and depression for years -- and had used alcohol as a way to "self-medicate" ... but claims he's sought professional help to work through it.

"I am taking medication for bipolar, and I am working to try to make sure I don’t fall back into any type of depression," Johnny told "Good Morning America" ... "because I know where that leads me and I know how slippery a slope that is for me."

Manziel says he was diagnosed as bipolar about a year ago -- around the same time he decided to start changing his life and begin his pro football comeback.

"I am watching all the other guys doing what I want to be doing, and I am sitting on a couch being a loser."

"The goal of this comeback is to get back to the NFL, ultimately."

As for his battle with booze -- Manziel explained, "I was self-medicating with alcohol. That’s what I thought would make me happy and get out of that depression."

"When I would wake up the next day after a night like that, going on a trip like that, and you wake up the next day and that is all gone, that liquid courage, or that liquid ... sense of euphoria that is over you, is all gone."

"You are left staring at the ceiling by yourself, and in that depression and back in that hole, that dark hole of sitting in a room by yourself, super depressed, thinking about all the mistakes you made in your life."

"What did that get me? Where did that get me except out of the NFL? Where did that get me? Disgraced?"

Johnny says the support from his family and his fiancee, Bre Tiesi, have been key to getting his life back together.

Kanye West might be an Adidas guy now, but that doesn't mean he's ready to let go of his Nike days ... he now wants to re-up his claim to the name of one his most famous kicks.

Kanye has applied for a trademark to snag exclusive rights to "Red October" -- the name of a shoe he released with Nike back in 2014.

If approved, the trademark would allow 'Ye to use (and presumably license) his "Red October" mark for shirts, jerseys, bras, thongs, parkas, capes, body stockings, tankinis, baby bibs, swim caps, PJs, gloves and lots of other stuff as well. Oh ... and footwear too, of course.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Kanye's OG 2013 trademark application for the name fell through since he didn't finish filing all the necessary paperwork. Makes sense he'd want this -- the shoes are still wildly popular, and retail for thousands.

Looks like he's back to button up the issue ... more than 4 years later ... in February. Attaboy, 'Ye.

Joe Jonas has his security system to thank for warding off a potential thief and keeping his name off the list of celebs who've had their homes burglarized ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... the DNCE lead singer's home surveillance captured footage of a person outside his San Fernando Valley home around 9 PM Thursday. We're told the prowler was seen messing with the security cams before triggering the alarm ... then taking off.

A member of Joe's crew got a notification of the alarm right afterward and went to the house to check it out. We're told nothing was stolen or damaged so a trespass report was filed, and cops are investigating.

For now, though ... it looks like Joe's security saved him from being the next victim of the Valley's crime wave of celeb burglaries.
