TRAINING CAMP TAKEDOWN

Cris Cyborg straight-up TOSSED a Chargers coach at L.A.'s training camp Monday ... judo-throwing a wide receivers assistant at practice -- and the video is incredible.

The poor guy's name is Phil McGeoghan -- a 6-foot-2, 224-pound ex-NFL player -- who for some reason wanted a pre-practice, hands-on demo from one of the baddest women on the planet.

Cyborg obliges ... picking the guy up and throwing him over her shoulder -- just like Joey Bosa on Sundays.

"Today I had a Job interview with the [Chargers] to be head of security," Cyborg jokingly said of the incident.

"I think it went well...what do you think Coach?"

It all begs the question ... if the two did get in an Octagon -- where Cyborg is clearly more skilled -- WHO WINS THE FIGHT?!

Grieving Mother Orca Finally Drops Body of Dead Baby Calf ... 17 Days Later

Published | Updated

A Southern Resident killer whale whose calf died shortly after birth last month was finally seen swimming without the carcass 17 days later ... according to scientists, who say her "tour of grief" is over.

The Center for Whale Research announced Saturday that the mother orca in question -- who goes by both Tahlequah and J35 -- was seen swimming solo near British Columbia with her pod chasing a school of salmon ... the first time she'd been seen without the body of her deceased calf since July 24.

Scientists say the whale refused to part with the carcass for a whopping 17 days, in what they described as severe grieving. The CWR says mother whales have been known to transport their dead calves for up to a week at a time, but this case was unprecedented.

Photos and video showing Tahlequah keeping the baby whale's body afloat soon after it died quickly went viral, especially after each passing day. The CWR says 100% of pregnancies for Southern Resident killer whales over the past 3 years have failed to produce viable offspring.

Lindsay Lohan Sorry for 'Weak' #MeToo Comment Didn't Mean It Like That

Published | Updated

Lindsay Lohan is backtracking on some eyebrow-raising comments she made about #MeToo -- calling women who speak out as looking "weak" -- and is setting the record straight.

LiLo issued a statement Sunday apologizing for her remarks and any harm inflicted. She says ... "The quote solely related to my hope that a handful of false testimonies out of a tsunami of heroic voices do not serve to dilute the importance of the #MeToo movement, and all of us who champion it."

She continues ... "However, I have since learned how statements like mine are seen as hurtful, which was never my intent. I’m sorry for any pain I may have caused."

The original comment came out recently in a Times interview, in which she criticized some women for coming out with their stories of sexual abuse way after the fact -- rather than address it in the moment -- and added speaking out now made strong women "look weak."

She's clearing that up now though, insisting she has "the utmost respect and admiration for the women brave enough to come forward and speak out about their experiences."
