Kodak Black is a free man, which means the time has come for the life of Bill K. Kapri to begin anew.

The Florida rapper was released from the Broward County Jail early Saturday morning after serving 7 months. As you'll recall ... he was doing time for 2 probation violations stemming from being arrested in January.

Kodak was initially facing 12 years behind bars, but 5 of the 7 charges against him were dropped and he was looking at an October release before a judge cut his sentence even more last month.

This was all good news for the rapper while he was sitting in a jail cell and, on top of it, he took steps to better his life and get a fresh start upon his release ... including a legal name change!

Kodak also got a jail tutor to help him get his GED.

Ariana Grande broke down crying as she opened up about the impact the Manchester Arena bombing has had on her life ... and TMZ has the emotional interview.

Ariana was on Ebro's show on Beats 1 Radio Friday when he asked about her track "Get Well Soon" from her "Sweetener" album, and the importance of it to her in relation to last year's terror attack.

The singer's instantly overcome with emotion, but manages to get into how she -- and so many others -- have internal issues we're all dealing with ... and the song is meant to give everyone a hug.

But, she admits she's been deeply affected by the traumatic incident in Manchester, saying ... "It's like people are permanently affected by this s**t and it’s just like, perspective. It changes everything, changes your life quite a bit."

Ariana says she tries not to give into fear for her fans, but the truth is ... she's scared. She says she feels it when she travels and hates the extra security measures she has to take to feel safe, but that's the way it has to be now.

22 people were killed in the Manchester bombing. Less than a month later, Ariana was joined by stars like Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and Liam Gallagher to put on the One Love concert in Manchester to honor the victims.

The ugly war of words between Nicki Minaj and Safaree could come to a head if the exes run into each other at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards, but there's a plan in place to avoid that ... TMZ has learned.

Nicki and Safaree will be at the VMAs Monday night in NYC -- she's performing and he's repping VH1 -- so both will be doing press on the carpet outside Radio City Music Hall beforehand.

It will be the first time the 2 will be in the same vicinity since Safaree claimed Nicki stabbed him and tried to kill him. She fired back, calling him a thief and a liar.

2 Chainz' friends Kim Kardashian West, Kanye West and Pusha T will be front and center at what's expected to be a pretty intimate ceremony ... with a bigger reception to follow.

Norma claims his movie career is flailing because he got into a public beef with Dwayne Johnson ... and that was all his fault -- not hers.

We broke the story -- Tyrese says he's only raking in $51k a month but his expenses are more than $113k, so he's too strapped for cash to cover anything else for her.

Norma calls BS and slams Tyrese ... saying "his extravagant lifestyle and over $113,000 in monthly bills is his choice." Besides ... she believes he should have money from other sources to cover her attorney fees.

Wendy Raquel Robinson -- best known for playing Regina "Piggy" Grier on "The Steve Harvey Show" -- is getting divorced after 15 years ... TMZ has learned.

Her husband, Marco Perkins, filed paperwork in L.A. Friday for dissolution of marriage. The couple wed in 2003 and has no minor children together.

Wendy gushed about her hubby in a 2012 article in Essence, saying marriage is wonderful ... and, "I can honestly say he’s my best friend.”

The wife of the lead singer of Korn has died Friday ... and it comes on the heels of a request for a domestic violence restraining order and major drug issues ... TMZ has learned.

Deven Davis was the estranged wife of Jonathan Davis. Deven was a former porn star who married Jonathan in 2004. They had 2 kids together.

Jonathan filed for divorce in October 2016, citing irreconcilable differences. Jonathan filed for a domestic violence restraining order today -- August 17, 2018. The judge issued a temporary order blocking any child custody or visitation by Deven. The restraining order also prohibits her from having contact with the family dog, Chaos.

Our sources say Deven was unaware Jonathan filed the restraining order ... she had not even been served.

Jonathan alleged in the docs Deven was deep into drugs -- something she had struggled with for more than 20 years. He alleged her drug use was causing emotional harm to the kids through neglect. He says in his court declaration she has been dependent on both prescription and illegal narcotics. She'd been to rehab 6 times and "is constantly under the influence of the nitrous oxide, cocaine and Norco."

Jonathan claimed she had a drug dealer boyfriend who was recently passed out on her living room couch when he brought the kids to her house. Jonathan says he found a heroin pipe and cocaine floating in the toilet bowl and found Deven passed out on the floor upstairs.

And there's this ... Jonathan claims when she binged on drugs she would "routinely bring home unsavory characters, including strangers. Some of these people are random fans of my music who she allows to come into the house, go into the master bedroom closet and try on my clothes."

According to the docs, Deven had been in a sober home but went AWOL last Friday and hadn't been seen for a week.

At this point we do not know the cause of death.

Ex-Ohio State assistant football coach Zach Smith took pictures of his penis while inside the White House during a 2015 team visit to celebrate the OSU national championship ... so says his ex-wife.

But, Smith's attorney says the penis in the photo -- which reportedly shows a tie and wedding ring that match up with Smith -- does not belong to his client.

FYI, Zach is the former Ohio State WRs coach who was fired last month in the wake of reports detailing an alleged history of domestic violence.

As for the penis photos, Zach's ex-wife Courtney told college football reporter Brett McMurphy she believes the pics to be authentic.

McMurphy did not publish the pics but described them in detail -- saying one features Zach's penis while he's wearing the black suit he wore to the White House event.

Another photo features Zach's penis next to a towel with the presidential seal on it.

Courtney also claims Zach took multiple penis pics in the Ohio State coaches' office during his employment with OSU -- including one where he's receiving oral sex from an OSU staffer.

Zach's attorney told McMurphy none of the penis pics are actually his client -- but didn't offer up an explanation.

McMurphy is also reporting Smith ordered $2,200 in "sex toys, male apparel and photography equipment" which he had sent to the Ohio State athletic offices.

Among the items ... "Men’s spider enhancer thong triple c**kring, body wear CS2 metallic erotic c**k strap gold and snake skin, WildmanT ball lifter red, candyman men’s jock suspenders" and more.
