Trump's Lawyer I Want to Depose Veep in Phileeeeeedelphia!!!

PHILEEEEEDELPHIA FREEDOM!

Senators erupted in laughter Saturday morning when Donald Trump's lawyer demanded that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Vice President Kamala Harris sit for a deposition, and not on Zoom ... in person -- in PHILEEEEEEEDELPHIA!

Attorney Michael van der Veen got all theatrical when he pushed his demands on the Senate floor. He struggled with Kamala Harris' first name and then just gave up. But, the big moment came when van der Veen mispronounced the home of the Liberty Bell.

The Senate just voted to allow witnesses to testify ... this as word of a damning phone call surfaced between Donald Trump and Rep. Kevin McCarthy. McCarthy reportedly called Trump during the insurrection, pleading with him to call off the rioters. Trump's response -- "Well, Kevin, I guess these people are more upset about the election than you are." McCarthy, enraged, responded, "Who the f*** do you think you are talking to?!!?"

Rep. Beutler was briefed on the call at the time and the Dems want to call her as a witness. It shows Trump was well aware his people were rioting and he consciously made a decision not to immediately call them off. Nevertheless, it's virtually certain there aren't enough Republicans on board for a conviction.

Tessica Brown Gorilla Glue Saga's Over ... Time for a Sip & Paint Night!!!

Published | Updated

Tessica Brown finally washed that Gorilla Glue right out of her hair -- thanks to a surgeon -- but the painful drama means her Valentine's Day's gonna be more low key than she hoped.

We got Tessica at LAX Friday after her month-long, rock-hard hairdo saga came to a happy ending, and she tells us it's time to unwind this weekend in Louisiana with her sister ... and a little sippin' and paintin'.

Tessica says she and her sis are going to have a nice steak dinner too, while she enjoys the sweet relief. You'll recall, moments after the procedure ended Wednesday night, she mentioned having big Valentine's plans -- but sounds like she's decided to take time to recover instead.

ROAD TO RELIEF

We broke the story ... Bev Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Obeng performed a $12,500 procedure for free to help Tessica out of her jam. The whole visit took nearly 4 hours, but when it was all said and done ... she was finally able to run her fingers through her hair again.

FINALLY UNSTUCK

As for the recovery ... Tessica says she's gotta leave her 'do alone for 6 weeks, but then she can really wig out.

She also suggests she's no longer considering getting litigious about what happened to her, though there doesn't seem to be any love lost with Gorilla Glue either.

Finally, Tessica wants her ordeal to be a very painful and cautionary tale for anyone thinking about getting creative with Gorilla Glue.

Waiting for your permission to load the Facebook Post.

Sadly, that should-be-obvious advice comes too late for Len Martin ... a fellow Louisianan who apparently didn't believe Tessica's situation was as dire as she claimed. He paid the price with half of his lip.

Please, everyone ... listen to Tessica.

Cardi, Kulture, Offset He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not ... HE LOVES ME!!!

Published | Updated

Cardi B is one happy lady, because she got a pretty spectacular pre-Valentine's Day gift from her hubby.

Cardi, with Kulture in tow, surveyed Offset's handiwork Friday ... their living room filled with beautiful floral arrangements. Cardi and Kulture were gleeful as they checked out a bed filled with rose petals in the shape of a heart, along with "Love" balloons.

It really looked like a professional decorator designed the surprise, and that's why Cardi questioned Offset to see if he did it. He said he did, but we're not sure if he's saying he arranged the flowers himself or if he hired someone to do it. Either way, it's awesome.

The room is really beautiful ... it's a nice peak in.

And, speaking of nice ... how nice do those mimosas look?

Wild Video WVU Student Slays Police Car!!!

Published

A freshman at West Virginia University got arrested for barreling down a snowy street in a laundry cart and nailing a police cruiser ... and yes, alcohol was involved.

Josh Beard was partying with friends in the fresh snow ... a tradition at WVU whenever the town gets blanketed.

Josh turned the laundry cart into a sled, but there was one big problem.  You can steer a sled ... not so with a laundry cart, and the proof's in the pics.

Josh is rocketed out of the laundry car as it strikes the police car, and that's all cops needed to see. Josh makes a run for it but he's no match for the police.

He's been charged with disorderly conduct, underage drinking, destruction of property, fleeing from an officer and playing in the streets. Playing in the streets, seriously?

Cops say they found 2 cans of Busch Light in Josh's possession. Wild guess -- there were more cans emptied earlier in the evening.

ALL LOVE FOR VALENTINE'S DAY

Avril Lavigne and Mod Sun have a big day in store Sunday ... Valentine's Day, because they made it clear Friday night -- they're a couple.

They hit up BOA Steakhouse in WeHo for Mod Sun's album release party for "Internet Killed the Rock Star." It's his 4th album and Avril's featured in one of the songs -- "Flames."

They were hand-in-hand as they had their temps checked at the door, before walking in. Two things seem clear -- they're a couple, and they both take COVID super seriously. Both Avril and Mod Sun are masked up and, as they hop in their SUV after dinner, they immediately hit the hand sanitizer pump.

Before leaving, Mod Sun drops $100 on roses ... a little pre-Valentine's Day celebration.

It's interesting ... a dude in an "Internet Killed the Rock Star" shirt is filming, so maybe Avril and Mod Sun are going to the next level ... a reality show?!??

Last time we saw them they were also leaving BOA and our photog noticed a tat on the back of Mod Sun's neck that read, "Avril."

Lamar Odom Epically Trash Talks Aaron Carter ... I'm Gonna KO Your Ass!!

LET THE TRASH TALK BEGIN

Before Lamar Odom and Aaron Carter beat the hell out of each other this summer, TMZ Sports got both stars together on Zoom for the 1st time -- and the trash talk was INTENSE!!

We broke the story ... 41-year-old Odom and 33-year-old Carter are boxing June 12 at the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City -- all part of a big Celebrity Boxing card.

During the convo, we hit on everything from the huge height difference (Odom's 6’10, Carter's 5’11”-ish), the pressure to represent for NBA players after Nate Robinson was KO'd by Jake Paul, and whether the fight is actually real.

Some highlights:

Lamar says although he doesn’t officially have any fights on his record ... that doesn’t mean he isn’t experienced in the ring.

“I’ve always boxed, in my best years with the Lakers, I used boxing for training, and so for me to go and show what I've learned on my man's face, this is like retribution for Nate Robinson. This is gonna be easy work.”

We asked Aaron if he could realistically beat Lamar ... a giant, elite athlete who played 14 seasons in the NBA.

Without hesitation, Carter basically said ... hell yes.

“I know I can [beat Lamar]. Come June 12th, like I said, like Apollo Creed said, ‘I’m gonna drop him like a bad habit,’ and I mean that.”

Lamar ... well, he doesn’t see it goin' down that way.

“I’m pretty good, bro. It’ll be fun. But, you’ll have fun getting knocked out.”

Carter’s response??

“You will not knock me out! You will not knock me out!”

If all the trash talk didn’t convince you, Aaron made it known this is very much a real fight -- and he’s looking to do real damage.

“I want to make something very clear too, just so everybody knows. There was no secret meetings, nothing gets staged. This is as real as it gets.”

GOIN' FOR THE WIN

But, don't expect the beef to carry over outside of the ring, after the fight ... 'cause Lamar says there won’t be any hard feelings. In fact, he wants to chill and party with the pop star in AC.

“I’m gonna be real with you, dinners on me cause I don't want you to take this ass whoopin' personal."

"So after, we're gonna be in Atlantic City, it will be summertime, it'll be hot, we'll hang out, maybe even drink a little, maybe even gamble a little bit.”

Nelly $elling Mizzo Pad Fixer-Upper's Dirt Cheap!!!

Published

Nelly's flip turned out to be a flop ... so he's unloading this Missouri mansion to finally 86 it from his real estate portfolio.

The "Hot in Herre" rapper has put this Wildwood, MO home on the market for $599,000 ... 19 years after he purchased the home. The plan was to remodel it and flip it with a contractor friend, but those plans never panned out ... so it's been sitting empty for years.

At this point, we're told Nelly just wants out. Whoever gets it is getting a steal. The house is definitely a fixer-upper but it has tons of potential. The 6-bedroom, 7-bathroom crib sits on nearly 12 acres of land with vast outdoor recreation space, which, BTW, includes a private basketball court.

It's located just 30 minutes west of St. Louis and offers stunning views of the Meramec River Valley. It's got good investment written all over it.

Phil Collins' Ex More of His Things Must Go!!! ... 2nd Auction Coming Up

Published

Auctioning off a bunch of Phil Collins' stuff was so nice, his ex is doing it twice ... including more of his awards and memorabilia.

Orianne Cevey's gearing up for round 2 with Kodner Galleries in Florida after raking in more than $2 million earlier this month for her collection of mostly jewelry, accessories and clothing ... but also awards and records belonging to her famous ex-hubby.

Orianne's second auction will be more of the same, including Phil's 1989 International Rock Award for MVP Drummer ... which is a bronze sculpture of Elvis on a marble base. It's expected to fetch between $1,000 and $10,000.

Also up for grabs -- Collins' Gold Award for selling 100,000 copies of his 2002 album, "Testify" ... a hand-signed Nick Faldo framed photo from the 2018 Masters ... and 2 autographed Yahama portable player docks -- one signed by Phil, and one by Shania Twain.

It's an interesting mix of Phil stuff for sure, but we're told Orianne's likely to rake in the most money from her expensive jewelry, watches, clothes, purses, cell phone cases and coins.

As we first told you ... she hauled in $22k for multiple gold LPs and "Assorted Phil Collins Awards" at the last auction, which she unloaded after moving out of Phil's mansion and downsizing to a smaller house.

BTW ... 10% of the proceeds for Orianne's auctions will be donated to the Never Give Up Foundation.

This, folks, has become an uber-bitter split.

Ex-College Basketball Player Arrested for Murder At Famous Tijuana Strip Club

Published | Updated

A 26-year-old former college basketball player has been arrested in Mexico after officials say he allegedly murdered a woman inside a Tijuana strip club.

... and it appears the murder was captured on surveillance video.

The suspect is Logan Kelley -- who played 3 games for Rutgers during the 2012-13 season before landing at the University of Montevallo, where he played in 20 games in the 2015-16 season. Before that, Kelley was a star high school player who led the state of NJ in scoring during his senior year.

But now, Kelley is making headlines for all the wrong reasons -- officials say he sneaked up behind a female employee at the Adelita Bar and sliced her neck with a folding knife Wednesday before trying to make a run for it, according to SD Union Tribune's Wendy Fry.

In a surveillance video, which we've seen but chosen not to publish, you can see a man wearing a COVID mask rush up behind the victim, stab her in the neck, and throw her to the ground while shocked bystanders scream in horror.

The footage also shows the suspect trying to run away.

Officials say Kelley was detained at the scene by security guards and held until police arrived to make the arrest. Cops have released a photo of Kelley taken after he was arrested.

Medical personnel raced to the club to try and treat the victim, but it was too late ... and she was declared dead at the scene. The victim has been identified by police as 19-year-old Isis Atalia Montoya Romero.

Police also say they have recovered the suspected murder weapon -- a 4 to 6-inch folding knife.

We've made several attempts to contact Kelley and his representatives -- so far, no luck.

'Jeopardy!' Star Brayden Smith Dead at 24 Trebek's Last Great Champ

Published
UPDATE

3:04 PM PT -- A family member tells us Smith died after a medical emergency, saying he died of natural causes.

Alex Trebek's last great "Jeopardy!" champion has died at the young age of only 24.

Brayden Smith, who scored a 5-game winning streak and more than $115,000 in winnings as Trebek's era came to a close, died unexpectedly last Friday in his hometown of Las Vegas. The cause of death is unclear.

Brayden's lifelong dream had always been to appear on "Jeopardy!" ... and the young man, who had reportedly tried getting on the show at least a dozen times, left a lasting impression on Trebek and fans alike.

His run was so impressive he drew comparisons to the great James Holzhauer because he also had a knack for finding the Daily Doubles and laying huge wagers when he did.

Trebek was very much impressed with Brayden's prolific run ... dubbing him "Billy Buzzsaw" for his ability to dismantle the competition. Trebek also uttered "Most impressive. I don't know what to say." Brayden, of course, appeared in the final shows Trebek ever hosted before he died from pancreatic cancer.

Brayden, who died about a month after his episode aired, had been looking forward to competing in the show's Tournament of Champions. He had just graduated from UNLV last year with a degree in economics and had hoped to attend law school and become a U.S. Attorney.

The family's asked that donations be made in Brayden's name here ... a fund benefiting Nevada students furthering their education.

RIP, Champ.

Kentucky Police Chase Ends with a Touching Twist ... Cop Hugs Fleeing Suspect

FROM TENSE TO TOUCHING

A wild police pursuit in Kentucky ended in a most unique way ... when an officer hugged the distressed driver instead of slapping handcuffs on her.

Body cam footage captured the conclusion of a cop chase that reportedly spanned 2 counties Wednesday, after cops say Latrece Curry took off from a domestic dispute with her husband ... and fled when deputies tried to track her down.

It has all the makings of an intense confrontation -- several police vehicles surround Curry, sirens blare, cops approach with guns drawn -- but Hodgenville Police Chief James Richardson noticed something as he got closer and demanded she open her door ... she was completely terrified.

Chief Richardson says ... "The look on her face was of sheer terror. She was shaking and it was obvious she was scared. I talked to her to calm her down and then she hugged me. That has never happened to me after a pursuit." De-escalation at its finest.

The chief says Curry was shaking so badly she couldn't even get her seat belt off, so he helped her and she started crying and hugged him. He says he didn't perceive her to be a threat in any way.

As for why she fled police, Richardson told the New York Post, "She was just in the zone, she didn’t know what she was doing and she was extremely sorry." He says she simply made a bad choice.

Curry was taken into custody without further incident.

Britney Spears Sister, Ex-Mgr Say They Weren't On #FreeBritney Zoom ... Just Being Impersonated

Published | Updated

Britney Spears' younger sister and her former business manager insist they didn't hop on Zoom for a virtual #FreeBritney rally, despite how it appeared ... we're told it was just a total catfish.

Thousands of Brit's fans were buzzing Thursday when they noticed a profile claiming to be Jamie Lynn Spears appear on the virtual rally ... but the profile's mic and camera weren’t on and just showed a stock image. Ditto for Brit's former biz manager, Lou Taylor.

The law firm representing Lou and Jamie Lynn tells TMZ ... neither woman was on the call, and instead, it was someone else posing as them by inputting their names and images on Zoom and making it appear as though they were attending the virtual rally.

The Zoom call came on the heels of Britney's latest court hearing in her conservatorship case, which as we first told you, saw the judge deny Britney's request to have her father, Jamie Spears, removed as her co-conservator.

No word on who allegedly impersonated Jamie Lynn and Lou, but they had lots of folks fooled.
