After reviewing security camera footage ... cops determined Vasconcelos took his own life the night prior around 11:45 PM -- and was not discovered until the following morning.

Sydney Sweeney's not hearing wedding bells in her near future ... 'cause she's pushing back her nuptials, TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... the actress was supposed to get married in May, but the wedding's now on hiatus -- and, it's not totally clear why.

We reached out to people in the know ... and, they confirmed to us the wedding was being pushed back because of the couple's busy schedule.

Jennifer Lopez has gone country ... well, L.A. country, because TMZ has learned she just closed on an amazing compound which has all the necessities to ride into the sunset!!!

Informed sources tell TMZ ... J Lo bought a 2 1/2-acre compound in the Hidden Hills area of L.A. The main house is 10,046 square feet, and it comes with a barn, stables and a riding arena, and the obligatory guest house and pool. BTW ... Hidden Hills is famous for horses, so cowgirl boots may be in order.

It also has city-slicker amenities, such as a theater, chef's kitchen and a gym.

The woman who has a love child with Dave Grohl has finally been revealed ... and she's a 38-year-old rock enthusiast from Florida.

The Menendez Brothers got a thumbs down from the L.A. County D.A. when it comes to getting a new trial based on new evidence.

L.A. County D.A. Nathan Hochman just announced his office will oppose the brothers' request for another trial based on 2 pieces of evidence -- a letter from Erik to his cousin purportedly written in 1988 where Erik discusses sexual abuse, and a declaration from a member of Menudo saying Jose Menendez molested him in the '80s. The D.A. says the new evidence does not change what happened when Erik and Lyle were convicted of murder.

Hochman says he did not hear the "2 Angry Men" podcast in which Erik and Lyle talked about how they've evolved in the 35 years behind bars.

Eva Marcille is enjoying her acting career detour from TV to the stage, and has no idea if she'll return to "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" ... but she'll be tuned-in to next season!!!

Nate Richie is one of the passengers who survived the Delta plane crash in Toronto ... and he's scoffing at the airline's $30,000 offer.

Nate tells us he hasn't been able to sleep since Monday's crash and he doesn't think the $30K offer extended to survivors is remotely close to the toll the incident is taking on his mental health.

He has hired attorney Ardalan Montazer, and he doesn't believe he'll ever fly again ... that's how traumatized he is by the crash landing.
