The St. Paul Police Dept. has opened an investigation after anti-ICE protesters crashed a church service ... and Don Lemon may be ensnared.

St. Paul police tell TMZ … the department is actively working the Sunday incident as a disorderly conduct investigation.

Due to the open case, police declined all other questions ... including whether Lemon was exempt from the investigation.

1:08 PM PT -- Nicki's paying attention to Don's reaction, and the media's, to her comment. In a new X post she says, "LOL!!! And i purposely wrote it that way b/c I knew that would be the only way to get the c**k suckas to post about it."

She also warned, "I'm glad they're angry. They're about to get angrier" ... and included a pic of a Chucky doll flipping the bird.

Don Lemon is going off on Nicki Minaj! The former CNN news anchor stopped by "TMZ Live" and unloaded on the rapper, telling her to "sit the f*** down" ... and while she's at it -- "get a life and grow some brains."

As you know ... Nicki bashed Don on X, calling him a homophobic slur, writing, "DON 'C*** SUCKIN' LEMON IS DISGUSTING." Don is gay, and married real estate agent Tim Malone in 2024.

But Don told us Nicki is an ignorant, bigoted woman who's been weighing in on things she doesn't understand.

Chaos in small town India ... a killer elephant is still on the loose following a terrifying rampage, leaving 22 people dead in just 10 days -- including an expert who was called in to stop it.

The elephant went rogue in Chaibasa, a district in India’s Jharkhand state ... began attacking villages on New Year’s Day. A couple and their two children were trampled to death as they slept in Babaria village in the following days, and the number of victims has steadily risen. NFL officials did NOT blow the critical interception call during overtime of the Bills vs. Broncos game -- it was called correctly, full stop -- according to Dean Blandino, the league's former head of officiating.

"The Cooks' play I thought, ultimately, they got it right," Blandino, FOX Sports rules analyst and former Vice President of Officiating (2013-2017) told TMZ Sports.

Iconic fashion designer Valentino Garavani -- founder of the Valentino fashion house -- has died.

His foundation posted the news on Instagram Monday, saying he died at his residence in Rome, Italy, "surrounded by his loved ones."

According to the foundation, the funeral will take place Friday at the Basilica Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri.

Some Buffalo Bills players are NOT happy with head coach Sean McDermott getting fired after nine seasons ... including defensive tackle, Jordan Phillips, who called the decision "stupid" and "sickening."

The NFL world is reacting in real time to McDermott losing his job following the Bills' Divisional Round loss to the Denver Broncos ... but Phillips' comments were by far the most filtered.
