Bert Kreischer's tour bus fire in North Dakota came after a bizarre tire blowout the night before forced the crew to abandon the vehicle on the side of the highway ... TMZ has learned.

Rob Greenwald, Bert's rep, tells TMZ ... the trouble started in the early hours of Sunday morning while the bus was traveling from Fargo to Cedar Rapids. The front right tire suddenly blew out and completely tore off the rim. We're told the bus didn't hit anything, and the drivers -- who each have about 35 years of experience -- said they'd never seen anything like it.

The bus pulled over along Interstate 94 during a snowstorm, and the group waited a couple hours trying to arrange a replacement tire. When none could be delivered overnight, Kreischer and others on the trip continued to Cedar Rapids on two separate crew buses. The disabled bus stayed behind with the driver, who waited on the highway for help.

The Best Picture win was the 6th of the night for "One Battle After Another" ... which nabbed a record 13 nominations back in January.

The 2026 Oscars were one to remember ... but we have all the moments you may have missed during the epic telecast.

Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner cozied up to each other as they waited to hear if Chalamet's name would be called in the Best Actor category for his performance in "Marty Supreme."

And host Conan O'Brien opened with a bang, recreating the famous ending from "Weapons" live at the Dolby Theatre.

Rachel McAdams had everyone choked up at the Oscars. There wasn't a dry eye in the house after she honored her late friend Diane Keaton in the award show's In Memoriam segment.

Rachel told the audience, "Believe me when I say there isn't an actress of my generation who is not inspired by and enthralled with her absolute singularity."

She added ... “She wore so many hats, literally and figuratively, actress, artist, author, activist, but no hat more important to her than being a mother to her two children. She meant so much to so many of us. I remember she used to sing this old Girl Scout song she used to sing on set, which is just so her: ‘Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver, and the other is gold. A circle is round, it has no end. That’s how long I’ll be your friend.’ And so to our friend, Diane Keaton, celebrating a life in silver and gold, a legend with no end."

Billy Crystal commemorated his good friend and "When Harry Met Sally" director Rob Reiner at the Oscars in a tearjerking tribute to the late Oscar nominee and his wife Michele.

After going through all of Rob's beloved films, Billy said, "To the millions who have enjoyed his films for all these years, I want you to know how many times Rob told me that it meant everything to him that his work meant something to you."

Billy was later joined on stage by some of Rob's most notable collaborators ... Christopher Guest, Jerry O'Connell, Michael McKean, Fred Savage and more linked hands as they honored their great friend.

Jonathan Cheban -- AKA Foodgod -- says he’s not holding Timothée Chalamet's controversial opera and ballet comments against him.

We got Cheban out Saturday night at Philipp Plein's Oscar party, and he told our camera he's not mad at Timothée over the hot take ... even though the actor has been catching a lot of backlash for the remarks.

Foodgod says he's aware Timothée has been getting plenty of criticism online, but he makes it clear he’s got no issue with him personally. In fact, he tells us he still thinks Timothée is a great actor.

Bert Kreischer had a super close call Sunday. His tour bus burned to the ground!

Bert shared a picture of the charred vehicle, writing, "We are all safe but my bus is gone -- God works in mysterious ways."

Look at the pic ... the bus is completely incinerated while sitting on the side of the road in what seems to be the middle of nowhere.

Conan joked, "A British spokesperson said, 'Yeah, well at least we arrest our pedophiles.'"

Oscars host Conan O'Brien came out swinging in his opening monologue, going right after Netflix honcho Ted Sarandos!

In a hilarious barb, Conan kidded that this marked Ted's first time in a theater. And it's a good thing Ted seems to have a sense of humor about himself, because it didn't stop there!

Conan dove into a whole act-out envisioning Ted in an outrage of there being so many people at the Dolby Theatre for the Oscars and not at home streaming Netflix.

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra nearly had a wipeout before even hitting the red carpet at the Oscars ... after their golf cart ride to the entrance got a little too wild.

We're told the couple's Sprinter van didn't get clearance to drive all the way through the security perimeter near the Dolby Theatre Sunday ... forcing organizers to hustle them the rest of the way in a golf cart.

TMZ obtained video showing the cart moving fast as staff rushed Nick and Priyanka toward the carpet to keep them on schedule. When the driver made a sharp turn with a quick burst of acceleration, the vehicle rocked so hard one of the wheels actually lifts off the ground, nearly tipping over.

Nick and Priyanka held on as the cart swerved its way up toward the theater ... thankfully the driver managed to keep all four wheels down.
