Wrestling Ref 911 Audio Released After Medical Emergency

TMZ Sports has obtained the 911 call made after wrestling referee Dallas Edwards suffered a medical emergency in the ring during an Ohio Valley Wrestling match last Thursday ... and you can hear the panic in the voice of the caller as he desperately attempts to get help.

During the call, which occurred approximately 2-3 minutes after Edwards hit his head on the mat, the caller tells the operator the man needs help "right now."

As the call progressed, Edwards began to move, which was an encouraging sign ... but there was still great concern over his well-being. While people at the venue waited for help to arrive, multiple people jumped in to assist Edwards.

Sean Penn scored his third Oscar win Sunday night, earning Best Supporting Actor for his role in “One Battle After Another” … but wasn’t actually there to take home the trophy, and now we've found out why.

During Sunday’s broadcast, Kieran Culkin -- who was presenting the Best Supporting Actor category -- accepted the award on behalf of the absent actor, saying that SP “couldn’t be here this evening ... or didn’t want to.”

Turns out Penn skipped the ceremony because he’s in Ukraine ... Mykola Serha, founder of Cultural Forces -- a collective of Ukrainian service members associated with the arts -- told The Associated Press.

Sources with direct knowledge tell us the incident happened seconds after the Sunday night broadcast ended, as she was attempting to head back onstage for the Best Picture photo with her "One Battle After Another" costars.

According to our sources, Taylor was trying to return to the stage alongside Pam Abdi, co-head of Warner Bros., when a security guard attempted to stop them from going up the stairs.

Our sources say the guard used his body to block Taylor and put his hands on her, trying to physically hold her back and push her away from the stage to prevent her from getting past him.
