Tekashi 6ix9ine is full steam ahead resuming his rap career, following a hiatus spurned by his 2020 Tattletales album ... which the culture stamped a sophomore slump.

For his new video 'GINÉ', all the Tekashi tricks appear to be intact: voluptuous models twerkin' in murky paint water, multi-colored backdrops and beef. Plenty of it.

Midway in the video at the 1:25 mark, 6ix9ine snuck in the message "Slide 4 Von" -- a reference to Lil Durk wanting to avenge the death of his slain OTF artist King Von.

The video also serves as a marketing vehicle for an energy drink of the same name, and if you blink, you just might miss it.

Von was killed in November 2020 during an altercation with Georgia rapper -- and NBA YoungBoy affiliate -- Quando Rondo's crew. Hence the ongoing feud between Durk and Youngboy.

His posthumous album "What It Means to Be King" still managed to impress fans enough to reach No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart upon its release.

6ix9ine, on the other hand, has ZERO dogs in the fight but still timed the disrespectful King Von message to coincide with his Durk-aimed lyrics, "You a bitch, I know you wouldn’t rob for your homie. I knew you wouldn’t ride by your doley."

Lil Durk famously dismissed 6ix9ine on Drake's "Laugh Now, Cry Later" single back in 2020 -- so this beef's been cooking for a while now.

Faizon Love is responding to Jay-Z's bars on Pusha T's "Neck & Wrist" with a healthy mix of sarcasm, jokes ... and a sprinkling of confusion added in there, too.

Pusha T recently grabbed Hov for a track on his upcoming album, "It's Almost Dry," and in true Jay fashion, his verse included a clapback at Faizon that was filled with complex lyricism.

He raps, “The phase I’m on, love, [Faizon Love] I wouldn’t believe it either/I’d be like, ‘Jay-Z’s a cheater.’" He finished up with, "I wouldn’t listen to reason [Reasonable Doubt] either/All I know is he’s a felon, how is he selling?”

During an episode of TMZ Hip Hop this week, DJ Hed explained how Jay-Z opts to covertly respond to shots thrown his way, as opposed to going viral through sensational interviews.

Y'know, because he's actually a rapper.

The backstory of this particular verbal beef dates back over a year when Faizon -- aka Big Worm from "Friday" -- questioned Jigga's drug-dealing past in 2 interviews.

Faizon returned to one of those interviewers, VladTV, and explained how "Neck & Wrist" initially flew over his head and ears.

Seeing that Jay didn't provide any animosity in his tone or words, Faizon simply didn't take it as a flat-out diss and compared the lyrics to a game of serving tennis. (Not exactly what the double entendre entails but still a cool viewpoint, we guess?)

Bankroll Freddie got himself in a pinch Thursday night when cops pulled him over for speeding, but ended up busting him on a slew of other charges.

Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office jail records show the Quality Control MC -- whose real name is Freddie Gladney — was booked for resisting arrest, drug and firearm possession, and speeding.

Arkansas State Police says they pulled over 27-year-old Freddie on an interstate 55, and during the stop officers allegedly found guns and narcotics in his pick-up truck.

We're told he's being held on $2,870 bond and, for some reason, he's now in FBI custody.

Bankroll Freddie had just released his latest single, "Pickin' Sides," last week, and it features Icewear Vezzo.

Lil Durk is arguably the hottest rapper out -- his "7220" album topped the Billboard 200 chart last month -- so, it's not surprising fans would literally lose their minds, or even bodily fluids, over him.

New footage just surfaced of Durk's recent Phoenix tour stop, and it shows the Chicago rap superstar's candid reactions to a fan who was in some kinda trouble. He actually stopped the show, and seemed genuinely concerned about her.

But, then he found out the apparent emergency was that she'd peed herself!

Lil Durk fans know his repertoire involves a bit of kink and had to clarify if it was fandom ... or simply the inability to get the bathroom inside the Arizona Federal Theater last Friday that spurned her urination.

Nevertheless, Durk was a good watersport about the situation and told the fan to go clean up, so she could enjoy the rest of the show.

Artists have been extra cautious with fans since November 2021's Astroworld Festival tragedy that left 10 people dead.

We've seen several shows temporarily stopped down so security and paramedics can tend to fans in distress.

That being said, the biggest safety precaution Lil Durk might need for the remainder of his tour is having mops on standby.

There's a story buzzing around that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky split because he cheated on her, but a source directly connected to both artists -- who has regular interaction with them -- tells TMZ ... neither the breakup claim, or the cheating is true.

The story that's circulating claims Rihanna called it quits with A$AP after she caught him cheating with shoe designer, Amina Muaddi. Muaddi does have a connection to RiRi -- she's a shoe designer for Rihanna's Fenty brand.

Our source first said, "100% false on both counts," and then added, "1 million percent not true. They're fine."

Worth noting that yesterday -- as the rumor was bubbling up -- Amina reposted recent pics of Rihanna out and about in West Hollywood. That would have been an odd move if she really were cheating with A$AP.

As you know, Rihanna is pregnant with A$AP's baby. Unclear when she's due, but based on pics she seems to be far along. She's on the cover of Vogue this month, and in the issue, she gushes about A$AP and their relationship.

The couple got together back in November, 2020. They had been friends for years before hooking up.

The man convicted of murdering Angela Simmons' ex-fiance has been sentenced to life in prison ... and she gave an emotional speech to the court just before the sentencing.

Angela spoke about the 5-year-old son she and the late Sutton Tennyson had together, saying he constantly asks her when his dad will come back.

She told the judge she cried all the time, knowing how excited Sutton was about raising their kid ... adding her son will forever wonder what it would be like to grow up with a dad.

Angela says Sutton's gone but never forgotten, and his son -- who shares his first name -- will carry his legacy.

Michael Williams was sentenced to life for murder, as well as an additional 15 years for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He'll be eligible for parole after serving a minimum 30 years behind bars.

As we reported, cops found Angela's fiancé dead in his garage with multiple gunshot wounds back in 2018. Police say he was talking in the driveway with another man when the conversation got heated and he was shot.

Kanye West is circulating again ... Thursday night chowing down with Shannade Clermont, but we're pretty sure this dinner wasn't about romance.

Ye and Shannade -- one of the twins from "Bad Girls Club" -- hit up Nobu in Malibu. The 2 have history -- aside from being good pals, Shannade and her twin sis, Shannon, modeled for Yeezy season 6 drop in 2018. Shannade and Shannon hang out with a bunch of rappers ... Ye among them, so this isn't confirmed romantic.

As for the romance dept., Kanye seems to be on track with GF Chaney Jones, whom he recently took to a fancy Utah resort. He's showered her with gifts and even taken her to meet his family.

As for Shannade and Shannon ... aside from modeling for Kanye's brand, they've been called Kim Kardashian clones ... and not without some evidence.

The twins have branched out recently with their own fashion line ... saying their inspiration was another set of twins -- Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.

DaBaby called 911 after shooting a trespasser who entered his North Carolina estate, and you hear the trespasser writhing in pain and DaBaby giving the 911 dispatcher lip.

DaBaby is standing right next to the guy he had just shot in the leg, who is whaling as the dispatcher solicits info. The rapper says the trespasser clearly knew it was his property because he mentioned him by name.

The dispatcher wants to know the condition of the trespasser, and when he asks if the shooting victim is alert, DaBaby goes on on him, saying, "Do you not hear this man, bro?"

DaBaby follows it up by advising the dispatcher not to ask the same question over and over.

Then the dispatcher asks DaBaby to secure his weapon, and the rapper makes it clear it's plenty secure in his hand. He refuses to put the gun down because the trespasser could still be a threat and there may others out there.

The trespasser was taken to a nearby hospital. His wound is not life-threatening.

Tekashi 6ix9ine's bragging he's back on the music scene, and flashing tons of cash ... but he's also gonna be back in court, because a streaming service claims he ripped them off and bailed on 2 concerts.

Tekashi's been hit with a lawsuit for $2 million, filed by Streamusic -- an app that streams live shows, and says they'd arranged for 6ix9ine to perform 2 shows in Hollywood in December 2021 ... both of which the company would stream live.

In docs, obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Streamusic says it paid Tekashi $150,000 to play the shows, and promote the gigs on his Instagram. The company says the rapper went silent in early December when they tried to get him to create the IG promos ... and ultimately, he blew off both scheduled concerts.

According to the suit, Tekashi finally resurfaced in January and they made a new deal ... rescheduling the concerts for later that month. You know where this is going, right?

Streamusic says 6ix9ine went MIA again ... ignoring 7 letters they'd sent trying to get him to fulfill the contract, and he never performed.

The companies gotta be very interested in a video Tekashi posted late Thursday. He just so happens to be counting out about $2 mil in cash in his driveway, and bragging about his lifestyle.

The video's most likely intended to be a jab at his rap rival Fivio Foreign -- they've been beefing about who's the real "King of New York" -- but Streamusic's gotta see it and think that's our cash!!!

Rapper Blanco Brown is taking his musical abilities to a whole new level ... joining a band on stage and playing everyone's favorite instrument -- the spoon!

Blanco's performance at The Barbershop Cuts And Cocktails in Las Vegas wasn't planned - he and his crew were there Wednesday night enjoying the band, The Commonwealth, and he decided to jump on stage with nothing but a pair of spoons.

The hip hop star joined Commonwealth to perform a cover of Chris Stapleton's "Tennessee Whiskey," and the crowd was loving it! Toward the end of the song, Blanco busted out his pair of rhythmic spoons for a very ... unique solo.

If you didn't know ... Blanco's known for playing spoons as part of the signature sound he calls 'Trailer Trap.' The guy even taught a spoons class for CMA's Summer Music Camp.

Blanco's hit, "The Git Up," blew up in both rap and country music, and led to the viral TikTok challenge.

Cash Out, the Atlanta rapper who scored a pair of Billboard and Platinum and Gold hits in the early 2010s, plus shared screen time with Adam Sandler in "Uncut Gems" is facing some hefty prison time.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis charged Cash Out and five other individuals in a 41-count indictment that includes allegations of rape, aggravated sodomy, human trafficking and even holding victims at gunpoint.

The deputy district attorney Earnelle Winfrey says the rapper, known for the songs "Cashin' Out" and "She Twerkin" is facing 25-to-life in prison.

Cash Out stands accused of using his celebrity status and social media as means to "lure" women.

According to the prosecutors, he and others used a hotel room near Fulton Industrial Boulevard and a residence in the city's Carroll Heights neighborhood to carry out the crimes.

Cash Out soon after took to his Instagram Story to clear his name with an ominous message that called for his name to be cleared.

After signing a short-lived deal with Epic Records that funneled the "Cashin' Out" record, CO would go on to collaborate with Future, Migos, and Lil Durk -- but saw his musical career stall and sputter in the past few years.

It took 8 months, but Cardi B and Offset are finally revealing their baby boy's name and showing him off to the world -- so get ready to meet Wave Set Cephus!!!

The proud parents both posted pics Thursday of their little bundle of joy, already iced out in Cuban link chains ... with Offset revealing the unique name in the caption.

Cardi posted a different shot of her son ... wearing a baby blue puffy jacket, and you can see Wave Set has a huge iced-out pendant hanging off those Cuban links.

Don't worry ... he'll grow into it.

For the big reveal, the proud parents gathered the whole fam for an Essence photoshoot.

Quavo's hopes to ball up with Jack Harlow again -- after their NBA All-Star Weekend victory -- are officially dashed.

20th Century Studios says it's picked a costar for Jack in its reboot of "White Men Can't Jump" ... and it won't be Quavo filling the role of hustler Sidney Deane, which Wesley Snipes played in the OG. Hip Hop film lure, it's not the Migos rapper.

Hip hop fans were hoping for a Huncho and Harlow pairing -- especially after TMZ Sports got the Migos rapper last month, sounding focused on landing the gig.

Even though Quavo has real life hoop skills, the studio went another direction -- as they say in La La Land -- and cast veteran actor Sinqua Walls ... who also stars in the upcoming horror film, "Nanny."

Even minus Quavo, 'White Men' appears to be in great hands. Director Calmatic has racked up plenty of high-profile video credits with the likes of Pharrell, Kendrick Lamar and Lil Nas X, among others. Plus, "Black-ish" creator Kenya Barris is co-writing the flick.

Don't cry too much for Quavo's acting career -- he's already set to star opposite Robert De Niro in "Wash Me in the River" later this year.

DaBaby was home when someone was shot at on his North Carolina estate, and he was involved in the incident ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us someone came onto the property without permission and they got shot. We're also told DaBaby was present when this all went down -- however, we don't know the level of his involvement.

We're told police have made no arrests, and all the evidence will be turned over to the District Attorney.

The Troutman Police Department says officers responded to reports of a shooting Wednesday night and when officers arrived at the scene they found someone who'd suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Cops say the shooting victim was transported to a medical facility for treatment.

Troutman town manager Ron Wyatt tells TMZ ... the shooting occurred at a compound where DaBaby occasionally stays, and people can't just walk onto the property by accident. Our sources say one of the DaBaby's relatives is listed as the owner of the estate.

Wyatt says there's a wall around the compound and DaBaby has security guards.

We've reached out to DaBaby's reps, no word back so far.

Rapper Archie Eversole, best known for his hit song "We Ready," has died.

Archie's family tells TMZ he passed away Sunday, April 3. His cause of death has not been revealed.

Archie was only 17 when he recorded his first album, "Ride Wit Me Dirty South Style." The album went gold, with the help of the track "We Ready" with Bubba Sparxxx.

"We Ready" became one of the most popular anthems at football games and other sporting events.

Archie was handpicked by the soccer team Atlanta United in 2018 to write its theme song, "United We Conquer."

Fans have been paying respect to Archie after his passing, including NFL pro Robert Griffin III, who calls his hit song "the greatest Game Day anthem ever." There's locker room video of high school football players singing "We Ready" as inspiration.

The song was so popular, the NFL even used it in an ad.

Archie clearly touched a nerve, because social media is filling up with tributes.

Archie was 37.

Say this for T.I. ... he's got the comedy world buzzing about his venture into stand-up, but after a couple of viral boo-fests, Luenell's offering some perspective -- which he may or may not appreciate.

The resilient rapper got a heavy dose of Brooklyn jeers at Barclays Center last week, and all clashed with another comedian, Lauren Knight, during a smaller gig in Atlanta -- but he told us he's good with learning lessons the hard way.

That's good, because comedy vet Luenell told us he should expect more of that. She hopped on the TMZ Celebrity Tour bus Tuesday in WeHo, and said Tip's just gotta crawl before he can walk onto stages in huge arenas.

You gotta watch how Luenell says it, but she clearly feels T.I.'s music legacy shouldn't get him a pass from playing coffee shops, and other small venues, like most comics do to sharpen their skills.

The crew on "TMZ Hip Hop" (our new TV show) includes some stand-up comedians, and they had a similar take ... saying he needs more stage time, and to learn some mic etiquette.

Luenell, of course, has over 4 decades of comedy under her belt -- on stage and in feature films -- so her advice should carry some weight.
