Proud hip hop head Bill Bellamy is finally getting his wish from a couple of years ago that rap would be represented better at the podium ... and lo and behold, two of his favorite albums -- in Clipse's "Let God Sort 'Em Out" and Kendrick Lamar's "GNX" -- are up for Album of the Year!!!

Bill chopped it up with TMZ Hip Hop in NYC this week, where the comedian noted how the Grammys were leaning more on the eclectic side to broaden their audience reach.

If you recall, Bill blasted the Grammys shortly after the 66th Awards in 2023 after they deemed Bonnie Raitt's "Just Like That" as Song of the Year. Two years later, the track only has 8 million plays on Spotify, so his criticisms have held up.

People are going nuts speculating Timothée Chalamet has been moonlighting as a mysterious UK rapper ... and based on the side-by-side pics, who can blame them?

The "Dune" actor looks like the spitting image of masked hip-hop artist, EsDeeKid, who's growing a fanbase across the pond with singles like "Phantom" and "4 Raws."

The evidence of them being the same person is really piling up, though it's mostly based on photos of both their sets of eyes ... but c'mon! They really do look identical.

Tekashi 6ix9ine had the instigating insight to ask DJ Vlad who he feels is the worst podcast dishing on Hip Hop these days ... and the VladTV boss didn't waste a second naming "New Rory & MAL" as ultimate trash!!!

The former "Joe Budden Podcast" co-hosts have had a rough month on the web after dozens of racist posts surfaced from Rory Farrell's X account -- with some of the hate dating back over 10 years.

The Real Slim Shady has it out for an Aussie company that sells beach umbrellas and swim wear ... a label called Swim Shady. According to documents filed in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and obtained by TMZ, Eminem wants to protect the name of his diabolical rap alter-ego and avoid brand confusion.

The filing alleges the "Without Me" rapper would suffer "damage and injury" if Swim Shady is allowed to keep its name. Eminem is concerned the public will associate him with the Swim Shady brand ... and he insists his own merch adheres to "premium quality standards" and doesn't want people to confuse him with the Aussie company's stuff.

Megan Thee Stallion's former manager took the stand in her defamation trial against blogger Milagro Gramz on Wednesday, telling the jury that the rap star's recovery was a pricey one -- costing her 6-figures' worth of therapy sessions!!!

Travis Farris -- AKA T-Farris -- testified that Megan spent $240,000 attending a 4-week therapy session to deal with the emotional distress she says she felt after Gramz made a string of posts ... one of which included a deepfake porn video believed to be real by many online.

Farris detailed in court about how Megan came to him in tears and even apologized for him having to witness the video, sparking her decision to undergo therapy.

D4vd is viewed as a suspect in the death of Celeste Rivas, the teenager who was found decomposing in his Tesla ... law enforcement sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ.

As far as we know, there is no paperwork classifying D4vd as a suspect, but as one of our sources told us ... "Investigators are looking at D4vd as a suspect."

We're also told they're viewing Celeste's death as a homicide, even though the Medical Examiner has yet to determine cause or manner of death -- investigators are still awaiting toxicology results.

Flyysoulja's Florida rental home was in dismal condition for weeks before he was detained by authorities for a mental health evaluation earlier this month ... and he left it full of dog feces, and without electricity, his landlord tells TMZ.

Andy also tells us the Homestead house came fully furnished when Flyy -- real name Alex Venegas -- and his girlfriend, KaylaThayla, moved in in 2024 ... and he noticed during the inspection that the $12,000 couch was missing from the living room, along with some ceiling fans.

8:49 AM PT -- According to the arrest warrant, obtained by TMZ, Girlalala's longtime boyfriend, Shanoyd Whyte, called 911 himself after shooting her inside a car parked in a residential driveway, even flagging down deputies when they arrived.

Deputies say blood was immediately visible in the vehicle, with heavy saturation on the front passenger seat and pooling on the floorboard. Blood droplets were also found on the pavement outside the open door, along with medical debris from first responders.

Inside the car, deputies recovered a holstered handgun behind the front passenger seat. Neighbors reported hearing two gunshots.

The warrant details surveillance footage showing Whyte's vehicle pulling into the driveway moments before the shooting. Both doors briefly opened, then the driver's door reopened, revealing Whyte pulling a gun from his waistband and firing into the passenger seat. A muzzle flash was caught on video. Girlalala was then seen slumped over as Whyte walked around the car with the firearm in hand and pulled her upright by her hair.

Deputies collected two 9mm shell casings and the firearm at the scene.

TikTok star Girlalala was shot and killed over the weekend, and now TMZ has obtained the frantic 911 call following the brutal murder.

In the recording, you can hear a man's voice screaming, "I need help! Please, I need help!" The man then frantically pleads with the dispatcher to "hurry up and get here!" We've learned Girlalala's boyfriend, Shanoyd Whyte Jr., made the call.

According to the Broward County Sheriff's Office in Florida ... Girlalala got into a heated argument with Whyte, which allegedly escalated into violence.

Tekashi 6ix9ine and Antonio Brown were streaming with Adin Ross on Tuesday when a car full of fans rolled up, making for a tense moment, before the controversial rapper used Charlie Kirk's assassination to calm everyone's nerves.

The men were hanging out outside Tekashi's Florida home, streaming, when an SUV pulled up in the dark of night and called out for 6ix9ine.

"What's up, bro?" the rapper responded ... as AB and BenDaDonnn looked on nervously.

Blueface's mother Karlissa got a little gagged when we disclosed just how wide the age gap is between her son and new GF Hazel-E ... but everyone seems to have found common ground now!!!

Karlissa was a little taken aback the other day when we explained to her that Hazel was actually 45 years young ... she tells us Blue had told his new boo was in the late-30s range.

N3on took a lie detector test on his YouTube channel that didn't go as well as he'd hoped ... the popular streamer failed when he was asked if he liked Black people.

Flanked by rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, fellow streamer Adin Ross, former NFL star Antonio Brown and comedian/rapper BenDaDonnn, N3on fielded questions from his buds in front of a stoic polygraph tester in the video posted Tuesday.

Like every lie detector test, it started out simple ... "Are you an Indian?" Adin asked. "Yes," N3on answered, as he is ethnically so. Easy enough ... right?
