USA baseball is looking to channel a little Olympic magic ahead of the World Baseball Classic final against Venezuela ... as the team pulled up to the ballpark rocking game-worn sweaters from the gold medal-winning men's hockey team!

Each member of the squad got to rep a different player as they made their way to the crucial matchup ... and it was all thanks to Fanatics.

The captain of Team USA baseball, Aaron Judge, was handed the jersey of Auston Matthews -- who captained the men's hockey team during the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Other players spotted in the Red, White and Blue included Mason Miller, David Bednar, Logan Webb and Bryce Harper.

Pete Crow-Armstrong made it clear he called dibs on "his boy" Jack Hughes ... adding they wanted to show how the men's hockey team winning it all has inspired them during their WBC run.

Cops in Florida have released the dramatic body cam footage of the arrest of Christian Barrios ... a fugitive who allegedly shot and killed two people near where the Players Championship was being held in Florida.

Barrios is accused of shooting two people in a Walgreens parking lot around 10:30 PM on Friday. He then sent authorities on a massive manhunt, including onto TPC Sawgrass property ahead of the third round of the golf event.

The St. Johns County Sheriff, Rob Hardwick, said Barrios had contact with multiple people on the course -- including groundskeepers and security. Hardwick also said he picked up a PGA Tour radio, but later dropped it.

Dwight Howard and his wife Amber Howard’s messy home life is now on public display ... with new police body cam footage showing the two trading jabs during a tense encounter at their Georgia mansion.

The new footage -- obtained by TMZ -- was recorded March 6 and shows Amber waiting outside the front gate of the Howards' estate, complaining that Dwight locked her out after getting upset ... something she says he does frequently.

Amber tells officers it's actually the fourth time cops have been called to the house in the past year. BTW, this footage is connected to 911 call audio we obtained last week ... in which Amber told dispatch he kicked her out of their home.

Amber says CPS took Dwight's daughter -- from a previous relationship -- away from him the night before, adding Dwight was angry with her for not defending him during that situation. FWIW ... Dwight’s rep tells us CPS never took the child and didn’t even visit the home.

Hailee Steinfeld ditched the Oscars this weekend ... opting for sunshine and hubby time with Josh Allen instead.

New details are emerging in Aden Holloway’s arrest -- and they paint a clearer picture of what cops say they found inside his apartment.

Authorities say they uncovered 2.1 pounds of marijuana during a search of the Alabama basketball guard’s residence on Monday morning, according to court documents filed on Tuesday.

Investigators said pot was found all over the apartment -- inside a backpack, a jacket pocket, a suitcase, a TV entertainment stand and a vacuum-sealed bag … along with cash, the prescription sedative Promethazine, a rolling tray and packaging materials.

TMZ Sports has learned that Dillon Brooks had a run-in with law enforcement not long before his DUI arrest earlier this month -- the Phoenix Suns player was cited for reckless driving and exceeding the speed limit.

According to an incident report, an officer claims he spotted Brooks traveling 85 miles per hour in a 45 zone shortly after midnight on January 12 ... hours after the Suns beat the Washington Wizards. In his report, the officer wrote that he grew "concerned about the extreme risk of a catastrophic collision or the vehicle striking a pedestrian."

"Several businesses in the area were open and operating," the report stated. "A collision at such speeds could have resulted in multiple fatalities or serious physical injuries."

Rex Culpepper -- a former Syracuse quarterback and the son of NFL player Brad Culpepper -- died over the weekend. He was just 28 years old.

According to local outlets, Culpepper passed away from injuries he sustained in a dirt bike accident in Georgia on Saturday.

Rex was a star athlete in high school ... becoming a top recruit at Plant. He went on to play at Syracuse as a quarterback and tight end ... throwing for over 1,500 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Mark Gastineau just took an L in his battle against ESPN over a recorded interaction with Brett Favre ... as TMZ Sports has learned a judge dismissed his lawsuit with prejudice.

The former Jets star's issue stems from a "30 for 30" documentary titled "The New York Sack Exchange" ... which showed him confronting Favre at a sports show in November 2023 over a sack he gave up to Michael Strahan 21 years prior to break the single-season record, which Gastineau owned at the time.

Lou Holtz built a legendary football résumé -- but according to his son, what mattered most was the impact he had on people.

That was the message Skip Holtz delivered Monday, delivering an emotional eulogy for his father during the Mass of Christian Burial at Notre Dame's Basilica of the Sacred Heart.

Standing before hundreds of former players, coaches and family members, Skip told mourners his dad wasn’t defined by championships or wins -- even though he had plenty of both.

“Yes, he was successful,” Skip said. “But most of all, he was incredibly significant, and he changed people’s lives for the better.”
